Beach Tragedy Claims Life of 7-Year-Old Girl
A family vacation turned tragic when siblings Sloan, 7, and Maddox Mattingly, 9, were buried in sand at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida. While digging on the beach, the sand unexpectedly collapsed, trapping them. Despite desperate rescue efforts, Sloan lost her life. Maddox was critically injured and rushed to the hospital.
